Habitat
The American Badger live in areas with short grasses. They can be found in places like prairies, plains, farmland, and edges of woodland areas. Also they can find shelter along roadways, fence rows, ditches banks, and field edges. Their range goes from as far south as Oklahoma, and then spreads north far into Canada. The rocky mountains border them to the west Badgers need habitats with deep top soils. This makes it easier for them to burrow and make dens.
