About the Author
My name is Katie Josephson and I am a Junior at the
University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. I am a biology
major with a bio-medical concentration. This is a
picture of me and my roommates (I'm second from the left).
There's a lot of us living in a little apartment which gets
kind of crazy but its also a lot of fun. I'm 21 years
old and I'm from Rice Lake, WI. I enjoy spending my
free time outside and hate big cities. I love nature
and my dog Chipper. She used to live in a little box
but now she doesn't because I bought her.
I have a really cool family. They are very important to
me. My mom is a smart psychologist who loves little kids
and my dad is a guidance counselor who also loves the outdoors
and is one of the funniest people I know. My brother live
in Utah and he's going to be a helicopter pilot someday. I
can't think of anyone who is more fun to hang out with than him.
He is also a big stud! I love my family more than
anything.
I also have two step-sisters and a step-dad. It has been very fun extending the family. My step-dad always keeps us laughing and is one of the most sensitive people I know. My step-sisters are full of energy and always keep things interesting!!
John is a guy who works with my parents and he has been like
a second dad to me my whole life. He has always been there
to help out or just hang out whenever I need him. Some of
my best memories of growing up are with him!
