 Welcome to the page dedicated to my favorite flower...the sunflower!

With A bright hello, my name is Sara Mitchell, I am currently a freshmen at University of Wisconsin La Crosse studying Community Health Education. Sunflowers have been my favorite for as long as I can remember and I always make sure that they're planted in my family's garden.  I love their bright color and the unique varieties that you can plant.  Knowing that I had to create a website for Organismal Biology, I immediately knew this would be my organism of choice.  After visiting this site I hope that you can now share in the joy that sunflowers bring me!
