Medicinal Uses
Nigella sativa is known for its
remarkable healing powers. It has been used for centuries all
over the world to treat many ailments such as headaches,
nasal congestion, toothache, intestinal worms, asthma, diarrhea
and
dyslipidaemia, and much more. It has also been
reported to as a
diuretic to promote menstruation and
increase milk production in women.
An amazing discovery was made in South
Carolina at the Cancer Research Laboratory of Hilton Head
Island, where experimental research proved that Nigella
sativa oil had a sucess on tumor therapy without causing
the negative side effects caused by chemo therapy. It was
actually found that N.sativa increased the growth rate
of bone marrow by approximately 250%. Not only that but it was
also discovered th
