A little
about the author....
First of all, I'd
like to thank everyone who has looked through my webpage and I hope
that I could give you a little insight when it comes to EBV. My name
is Michaela Weisser and I am currently a freshman at the University
of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I am majoring in Biology with a
concentration in cellular and molecular sciences. After graduating I hope
to attend graduate school and eventually work with research in human
genetics and diseases.
My reasoning
behind creating this webpage was to fulfill the requirements of my
Organismal Biology class in which I am currently enrolled. We were
able to choose any organism we wanted. I choose the Epstein-Barr
virus because a good friend of mine recently had Infectious
Mononucleosis and I wanted to learn more about it. I really enjoyed
creating the webpage and learned a lot on the way!
I hope you
enjoyed this webpage, but if you noticed any problems or have
comments or suggestions please feel free to contact me. I also would
enjoy hearing your feedback on the page as a whole. My e-mail is:
weisser.mich@students.uwlax.edu.
Thanks
again and hope to hear from you soon!
I'd also like to give out a special
thanks to "The
Tree of Life Web Project" for allowing me to use a few of
their graphics. If you enjoyed this site you should be sure to
check out theirs.
