     My name is Bethany VandenLangenberg.  I am the third of four children. I am currently a freshman studying at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse.  I am double majoring in Pre Physical Therapy and Medical Biology.  When I graduate I hope to go to graduate school to get my Ph.D. in Physical Therapy and then eventually work with children with special needs.  My little sister Meghan is my inspiration. 


     The reason I have chosen to dedicate my organismal food page to Saccharomyces cerevisiae is because I have always enjoyed baking as a hobby and I am also a vegetarian, so from my perspective, food does not come from animal species.  Also my oldest brother has taken up a new hobby of home brewing, which he has become quite good at.
