Hello! My name is Kaley Bernhardt and I am from Eau Claire, WI. I am currently a second semester sophomore at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I am a Biology major with a Biomedical concentration and a Chemistry minor. After my undergraduate years I plan to attend medical school and become a pediatrician. With a chosen career path like mine, there are not many occasions for free time. However, when I do get some free time, I love being in the sun, spending time with my wonderful friends and family, and playing tennis and golf.

This webpage was made for my Organismal Biology course at UW-L, taught by Dr. Thomas Volk and Dr. Gregory Sandland. This semester's theme for the webpage assignment was our chosen organism must be about a poisonous or venomous species. I decided on Chironex fleckeri because I have always had a fascination with the ocean, and what better way to learn about it than to study about the most venomous creature in it?

I hope you have enjoyed learning about this box jellyfish as much as I have!
