About the Author
Thank you for taking time to visit my webpage! I hope you have
learned not only a lot about this species, but also how it interacts
with other organisms including you, its potential host. Now, a little about me...
I am currently a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
I plan on majoring in Biology with an emphasis in Biomedical Science
and double minors in Psychology and Chemistry and eventually I would
like to continue my education to become a physician assistant. Until
then, I am working part-time as a Certified Nursing Assistant. When
I am not studying or working, I enjoy being active whether that is
biking, hiking the bluffs, or playing rugby. I was interested in doing research on this species for my Organismal Biology project because of its impact as a human pathogen
and its unique adaptations and toxicology.
