A Note from the Author

 

     Hello fellow readers! My name is Michael Gonzales and I am currently a freshman

 at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. I am from Delavan, Wisconsin and as of

 now, I am interested in majoring in Therapeutic Recreation with a minor in

 Psychology. I have two brothers, one older and one younger. That makes me the

 lucky, middle child! I am a server at Lake Lawn Resort and during my "free time" I

 enjoy working and hanging out with my co-workers, who have become my work

 family. I hope you learned a thing or two from my page! If you need to get a hold of

Believe it or Not ...

     After researching this particular organism, I became more and more interested

as I found a way to make this project satisfy my current obsession with The Hunger

 Games series! It is fascinating to think that such a delicate organism like Conium

 maculatum has the capability to kill a human. In The Hunger Games (spoiler alert!),

 the female District 5 tribute known as Foxface, suffered an unfortunate death after

mistakenly eating nightlock berries, unaware of their toxic effects. Do not let yourself

 be the next unfortunate soul to suffer the same fate. Shout out to Suzanne Collins

for writing such an awesome trilogy and to my best friend Jordon Drohner for getting

me hooked on the series!
