About Me
Hi everyone! My name is Bryan Johnson, and I am a freshman at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse - a fantastic school! I am pursuing a major in Biology/Pre-Medicine and a minor in Chemistry with a Biomedical Science concentration. My ultimate goal is to become an orthopedic surgeon and help people overcome sports related injuries by fixing them up. This project is a part of the class Organismal Biology offered here at UW-L and is taught by two of the greatest professors on campus: the king of animals - Dr. Greg Sandland - and the king of plants/fungi - Dr. Tom Volk. If you ever have the chance to meet them, do not hesitate! I would have to say that the process of building this webpage has been a great experience knowing that I am contributing to an even larger project (www.MultipleOrganisms.net) that has been underway for many years now. When I am not researching the Panamanian Golden Frog for this project, I enjoy spending time outdoors. Specifically, one of my biggest passions is playing golf. I am lucky enough to say I have gotten a hole-in-one already in my life! The golfing gods must be on my side. Anyways, I have a great support system at home in my parents, Craig and Michelle. I have one older brother, Michael, and sister-in-law, Haley, who recently welcomed a daughter into this world, how cool! But all-in-all, I hope you have learned a lot about the Panamanian Golden Frog during your visit to my page. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at johnson.brya@uwlax.edu.
