Habitat

Sulfur tuft is found in areas of a moderate climate. It is also found in areas with low to medium moisture. The sulfur tuft grows on dead trees, where it uses exoenzymes to decay the tree and feed off of it. Sulfur tuft can be found in numerous locations, including California, Japan, and Europe.
