Hello! This website contains information about Limenitis arthemis astyanax butterfly, more commonly known as the Red-Spotted Purple butterfly.  Tabs at the top of the page can be used to navigate the different content pages.  Although there are many interesting aspects to the Red-Spotted Purple butterfly, our research was focused on the habitat, adaptations, nutrition, and life cycle of the Red-Spotted Purple butterfly.
