My name is Dana Baldwin. I am currently a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. I’m majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. My goal is to attend Marquette University for graduate school. After four years of schooling at Marquette, my dream is to be a Dentist.

I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to see various parts of the world. I have been to Costa Rica, Australia, Sweden, and many other regions of the United States. Traveling has always been a huge passion of mine. I would love to travel the world after finishing dental school. My cousin worked for Operation Smile and after hearing all about her experiences, it has really peaked my interest in doing something similar. It would be a very eye opening and humbling experience to travel the world and help children in third world countries achieve a smile that many Americans are fortunate enough to have.

My partner Emily and I created this website for our Organismal Biology class in the Fall semester of 2013. It was fascinating to learn all the unique qualities Xylocopa virginica portrays. I was responsible for creating the Form and Function and Interactions page. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding the material on these pages. You can contact me by email at baldwin.dana@uwlax.edu.

My name is Emily Clarkin and I am a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I am currently majoring in Biology with a double minor in Chemistry and Psychology. I have always had a passion for working with kids, so I hope to one day become a Physician's Assistant specializing in Pediatrics.

Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing soccer, listening to music and rollerblading. I have always thought it is important to give back to my community so I have also spent a lot of time volunteering.

This website was created for our Organismal Biology course at Univeristy of Wisconsin-Lacrosse in the Fall semester of 2013. Through this project I was able to learn a lot about Xylocopa virginica and I hope that as you explored our site you were able to do the same. I was responsible for creating the Reproduction and Habitat pages. If you have any further questions about the website feel free to contact me at clarkin.emil@uwlax.edu.
