-Contrary to common assumptions, mushrooms are neither plants or animals. They are classified in a Kingdom of their own.
-A single mature basidiocarp (mushroom) is capable of producing millions of spores at a time!
-Psilocybe cubensis is classified as a Schedule I drug by the FDA. This gives most people the misconception that it is just as dangerous and medically useless as other Schedule I drugs. In reality, Psilocybin does some medical uses, and it has a much lower toxicity level than alcohol!
