Studies involving spirulina:

One gram of Spirulina fusiformis was given to 87 subjects with oral leukoplakia, a cancer of the mouth, for a year. This study utilized a double-blind procedure along with placebos as a control group.  The complete response rate (total disappearance of the lesions) was 11% in the placebo group and 57% in the spirulina group. These results were described as statistically significant because of the drastic percent difference.

In multiple studies, spirulina was found to demonstrate antiviral activity against the AIDS virus in vitro. A sulfated polysaccharide, calcium spirulan, isolated from spirulina inhibited herpes simplex virus type 1, human cytomegalovirus, measles virus, mumps virus, influenza virus, influenza A virus, and HIV.

In multiple animal studies, spirulina enhanced humoral and cell-mediated immune functions and stimulated macrophage function along with phagocytosis.

This involves taking one day to cleanse and detoxify the body by consuming only spirulina and water, taking 10 grams every 2 hours during your day. Keep in mind this day must be a 'quiet day' where you do not over exert yourself. This will be hugely beneficial to your body and you will feel amazing for the rest of your week. We firmly recommend this!
