Hello folks!

My name is Ben Bengtson, I am currently a sophomore majoring in Computer Science, with a minor in Graphic Design at UWL. This website is a project assigned by Dr. Snively in the class Organismal Biology, Fall 2013. The organism Dosidicus gigas was assigned to my group for a project and we stuck with it because it looked like an extraordinary organism to learn about. The website itself was fairly easy to create, it just takes a lot of time and patience to get everything just the way you want.  The pages i created were Habitat, Classification, and Reproduction.  Over the months that we have researched about this organism, we have found a tremendous amount of cool information about the Humboldt squid. I hope that all this research pays off in the future for anyone who wants to learn more about this amazing organism.

If you have any questions or comments about this website please feel free to contact me at my Email: bengtson.benj@uwlax.edu

Hello! Or as some might say… Ahoy!

My name is Nathaniel Gary Otto Kitzmann and I hope you have had an enjoyable experience learning about the amazing life of a Humboldt Squid.  I have been researching the Humboldt squid because of a project that was assigned to me by Dr. Snively.  The pages I did was Adaptation, Nutrition, Interactions, and Facts. When I am not researching about Jumbo Squids or studying at UW-L, I spend time at my home in Rochester, Minnesota.  A lot of my summer is taken up at the Mayo Clinic’s Electron microscopy lab where I work.  When I am not working or studying, I love to hike, play soccer and read science fiction novels.

I currently am pursuing a Biomedical major with a double minor in Chemistry and Spanish!  Currently, I am not sure what I want to do as a career, but I am very interested in Biology and the Medical sciences. I have always enjoyed science and am positive I want to make it part of my life.

If you have any questions, comments, or corrections feel free to e-mail me at Kitzmann.nath@uwlax.edu
