About Me and This Site

Permission from Mike Gatzke

My name is Mike Gatzke and I am a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.  I'm from a small town called Burlington, and much to everyone's dismay there isn't a coat factory there.  I came to LaCrosse to study Nuclear Medicine but then switched majors and am currently in Biomedical Science.  I have a long road ahead of me and am just looking forward to the journey.

I decided to pick this animal for my project because I find rhinos very interesting.  I want to have a rhino as a pet because who else could say, "hey, nice dog, but I've got a rhino!"  Unfortunately it couldn't fit through the door to my house, and there are no free roaming white rhinos here in North America.  The fact that it is endangered has nothing to do with it at all......  Anyway I hope you found my site insightful, as well as entertaining.
