About Me

My name is Kayla Kuczmarski, and I am currently a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a major in Biology.  I constructed this web page for my Organismal Biology course, and I chose the species Ailurus fulgens styani, which is also known as the red panda, because it is a unique mammal that many people do not know much about.  The red panda is unique in the sense that is a solitary organism and is rarely seen.   I have visited the New Zoo in Green Bay, Wisconsin, which is home to the red panda, "Tae-Bo," many times, and I have only seen the red panda once.  I also find the debate about the red panda's classification very interesting.
