Interesting Facts

I choose to research the gulper eel because its appearance was very interesting and I had heard little about it.  Its bizarre appearance sparked my curiosity and caused me to want to know more about this organism.

Before 1968, the gulper eel was considered to be very rare because only 300 had been collected world wide.  With more exploration 100s have been captured.

The gulper eel is able to consumer organisms bigger than itself because of its unusual unhinged jaw.
