Nomenclature:
Because of the vast
numbers of orchids and the countless hybrids it is not uncommon for the
species name not to be Latinized. This is the case with the Phalaenopsis
sago lisa. The species name will often be named after the cultivator.
Cultivated Hybrids are shown by writing the cross such as Phalaenopsis
winter beauty X Phalaenopsis winter maiden vera.
