Helicobacter pylori is found within the Bacteria kingdom in the upper half of this tree. There are two strands shown here. As on the classification page, it is found under the phylum proteobacteria. Its closest relative shown in this tree is Campylobacter jejuni, as they are both within the order Campylobacterales. These two species were at one time both in the genus Campylobacter, until the genus Helicobacter was determined to be totally separate.
