About Me
My name is Jason Esse and I am a student at
the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. The animal I chose is
more than commonly found in this area, which gave me the
opportunity to get out and take some of my own pictures of the
Mallard for this website. I also chose the Mallard because I am
an avid hunter and outdoorsman. I wouldn't trade a day in the
woods for anything. I grew up in urban Minneapolis, MN but took
frequent trips to my cabin in northern Minnesota. This was also
where I raised two baby Mallards during the summer shortly after
they hatched. So I dedicate this website to Henny and Penny, my
two little buddies that summer in '92.
