Interactions With Other Species
The saddle billed storks are known for their solitary, meaning that they prefer to be alone. Thus you more often than not find them alone or in pairs with their mate. There is little to no connection to other species, except for the victims of the saddle billed storks empty stomach. However, they are considered a nice feast by their predators, crocodiles and many wild cats. They also are not immune to nematodes, one example is Paronchocerca ciconarum, or heartworms.
