Hey there! My name is Chloe Scheel, and I'm currently a junior at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I am working hard in school with a major in Biology with a Biomedical concentration. I hope to work in the medical field in the future, but still am unsure of what exactly I want to do. While most of my time is spend going to classes and being a Resident Assistant in one of the halls on campus, I enjoy dancing and running, hanging with friends, crafts, listening to music, staying up late, and I absolutely love summer!

 

As part of my Organismal Biology class, each student was assigned to create a web page about an organism they found interesting. You may ask why I would choose a tomato out of everything else there is, but if you knew my dad, and how crazy he is about his tomato plants, you would understand! By choosing a this organism, I realized how fascinating plants can be. Seen as a very delicate species, plants are able to make their own food and survive different seasons! There life-style is completely different than the humans which made learning about the tomato interesting, and I can impress my dad!
