About Me
Cassandra Cropp
Hello! My name is Cassandra Cropp. I am currently a Freshman at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I am majoring in Cellular and Molecular Biology and am working on a minor in Chemistry. I hope to attend medical school after I complete my undergraduate studies.
I created this webpage for my Organismal Biology class, taught by Dr. Greg Sandland and Dr. Tom Volk. The theme for webpages was "food organisms". It gave us the opportunity to apply what we learned in the classroom to one specific food organism of choice. I chose the Snow Crab because I didn't know much about it, and from preliminary research, it seemed fairly interesting. It turns out that this organism does interest me, as I hope it interests you!
Outside of my studies I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy being outdoors where I can participate in waterskiing, camping, boating, fishing, and other miscellaneous activities such as biking and rollerblading.
I hope you enjoyed my webpage, and that you learned a lot of new information about Chionoecetes opilio!
I encourage you to visit MultipleOrganisms.net to learn more about many other fascinating organisms!
