Hello! My name is Jennifer Hawes and I am a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. I am majoring in biology with a concentration in molecular and cellular biology and with a minor in chemistry. I hope to get a job in research once I earn my undergraduate degree. My goal is to find better medicine for cancer and then at some point, find a cure.
I'm very athletic. I mainly play soccer and basketball. I love watching NFL football. I'm a huge Packers fan! I like to draw and play videogames. I'm not a big fan of the cold weather, but at least I always find things to do since I'm always willing to try new things.
This website was created for my Organismal Biology class. The theme was on organisms that were used for food or used to make food. I found that the emus fell into the category of organisms being used for food, which got me really excited because I've always found emus to be so cool!
