Hello! My name is Mackenzie Kuhn and I am from Oshkosh, Wisconsin. I am a freshman at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, majoring in Biomedical Science. After completing my undergraduate studies here in La Crosse, I plan to go to medical school. My desire to go to medical school began at a very young age when I was diagnosed with lupus indicators, symptoms of an autoimmune disease, and was further intensified when my older brother was diagnosed with cancer. After dealing with these health problems, I was determined to make a difference in the lives of other people that have been touched by serious health problems, and this is where I am today! Working on my undergraduate studies in hopes that I will someday change the lives of many.

In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends. Some of my hobbies include racing pigeons, much like the passenger pigeon, fishing for blue gill with my best friend, and swimming in Lake Winnebago, while trying to avoid zebra muscles!
