The classification table above and the phylogenetic trees below, were created by me to show you how the Goose Barnacle is classified, as well as its amino acid sequence in the phylogenetic tree below. The amino acid sequence below is from the mitochondrial protein-coding gene. The Second phylogenetic tree shows the closest relative to the phylum Arthropoda, which is the Nematoda, and shows all the other close relatives. Arthropoda is closely related to Nematoda because it is triploblastic and has bilateral symmetry.
