Hello my name is Garrett Tschanz. I am currently a freshman student at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. I created this web page for my organismal biology class as a class project. My major as of right now is microbiology with a minor in chemistry. My hometown is Monroe Wisconsin which I was born and raised in. I am the youngest member of my family. My favorite things to do away from school are playing tennis, which I am currently a player here at UWL, I love playing drums and performing live in front of an audience, hanging out with all my friends, and doing other various outdoor activities.

I chose to do a web page on this particular organism because it looked interesting on the list I was choosing from. I mean, who has ever heard of a Goose Barnacle? I sure didn't. I find this creature fascinating not because it has a cool name, but it is also a very highly recommended European delicacy, so if your ever in Europe, give it a try!
