About Me

     Hey guys! First off, thank you for visiting my website.  My name is Emily Durham, I grew up in Tennessee, then moved to Waukesha, WI at the age of 12, and I currently attend University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.  I'm working towards a major in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Psychology, with the ultimate goal of becoming a Physical Therapist. 

     To be honest, I chose this organism out of default.  I originally decided on a plant, but at the last minute, I found myself wanting to switch to a fungus. They really are more interesting.  Luckily Coprinopsis atramentaria was one of the few left, which is odd considering how truly interesting this organisms is!  Also my lovely sister, Erica Durham, attends UW-La Crosse as well and had this same project two years ago!
