About the Author

 

My name is Matthew Kosch.  I grew up in a small town close to Green Bay, Wisconsin.  I am currently a freshman at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse.  My major is biology with a concentration in biomedical science, and I am also pursuing a minor in chemistry.  I am not sure yet as to exactly what I want to do after I get my degree, but it will be something in the medical field.

This website was created as a project for my BIO 203 class (Organismal Biology).  I had a lot of fun learning about this fascinating organism, and I hope my website showed you just how amazing the brown recluse spider is!  I chose to research this animal because I found its unique hunting styles and habits very interesting compared to other spiders.
