Figure 2.  This Taxonomy tree is is narrowed down from the Class Aves to the Superorder Palaeognathae.  The Superorder Palaeognathae contains most of the flightless birds, which are then split into the 6 orders you see above, the Casuariiformes was included to help better visual the taxonomy of the Southern Cassowary. The Casuariiformes contains two types of Families, one Emu (Dromaiidae) and one Cassowary (Casuariidae).
