Facts

A few fun facts about Paraceratherium relates to how the animal circulates its blood. Since the Paraceratherium is so large it would have a heart rate that would be a little faster that an elephant's which is approximately 30 beats per minute. However, the blood pressure is more like that of a giraffe due to the Paraceratherium being so tall with a long neck. The blood pressure would be around 300 mm Hg (Prothero, 2013).Giraffe
