Again there isn’t much research done on Patera binneyana but it can be assumed that due to the location of the snail’s habitat, and the fact that most snails are herbivores, that this snail most likely feeds on leaf litter, moss, fungi, and other plant based material found in the forest of the mountains. The snail uses it radula to consume and digest this plant material (Hickman et al., 2012).
