Reproduction

Unfortunately, there is not much information on the reproduction of Appalachina chilhoweensis, but we can focus on the reproduction of the order Stylommatophora for further information since Appalachina chilhoweensis is a part of that order. Stylommatophora are hermaphrodites which means they possess reproduction organs of both males and females and must cross-fertilize with another organism of the same species. They produce both sperm and eggs and produce an offspring that undergoes direct development.
