Habitat
Inflectarius downieanus is a type of terrestrial snail, which means it lives on land. The most common place in the world where this snail is found would be in eastern North America (Wilbur, 1984). The ecological niches that this snail dwells in are by seas, high mountainous areas, from arid regions in Mexico, and to the southeast to the humid woodlands of eastern North America. Among these areas, they are more abundant within hardwood forests.
