Nutrition
Very little research has been done on the nutrition of Praticolella. For this species, we based the nutrition of the Polygyridae family on the nutrition of the specie's nutrition.
Air-breathing land snails are known to be either herbivorous or
omnivorous. Most of the objects the snails consumed can be found at ground
level.
The snails within the Polygyridae family will eat basically anything but they have some favorites. Their favorite items for nutrition are plants, fungi, animal matter, and soil (Speiser, 2001).
