Contact MeMe holding the waterfall and the clouds!

Hello all, my name is Alicya Peterson and I am a freshmen at University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. I'm from Stillwater, MN, which is on the border of Wisconsin and Minnesota, about 30 minutes from the Twin Cities. Currently I'm pursuing a degree in Biomedical with a minor in Chemistry and I plan on graduating from UWL in 2014.

Whether on campus or at home I love to stay active. While on campus I've become great friends My brother Anders and I before zip liningwith our recreation center. I love to exercise and it even can be a great stress reliever! Between kickboxing, zumba class, and two intramural soccer teams its been lively. I've always enjoyed getting outside trying and learning new things. Recently I've learned to surf, snorkel, and went zip lining in Hawaii. As you can tell it was an incredible experience.Learning to surf in Hawaii

The girls and me back homeBack home to keep busy I like to spend time with my friends and family. I've been quite lucky through the years to have friends like the ones I have back home. Many of my girlfriends have been there since the early years in elementary school and we have all stayed very close. Armed with Disney movies, cookies, pancakes, and cameras we always know how to have a good time.

My family

Fortunately I have been very blessed to have such a supportive family. Being the youngest in my family it was a big transition for me to go off to college.  Luckily I am able to stay in close contact with both of my parents through texting, phone calls, and skype. In reality we're never too far away.

Being the youngest also has many perks. I've had the privilege of watching my older brother go through life and learn from him, the good and bad. I'm honored to have such a wonderful older sibling like my brother andBrother and me fortunately he and I have become quite close. He has always looked out for me and even now that we're both in different colleges I can always feel him keeping an eye on me.
