Facts

 - Dendrobium officinale is EXTREMELY hard to research, if you are not familiar with the 
    Chinese language. Many of the studies and experiments conducted on D. officinale are in
    Chinese.

 - The Chinese name for Dendrobium is Shih-hu. "Shih" mean rock and "hu" means living in
    Chinese.

 - The Chinese believed that if this orchid could grow in rocky areas, it must contain qualities
    that would make the body strong.

 - Dendrobium officinale Chinese name T'eh-p'i Shih-hu means "iron skin."

 - Dendrobium officinale doesn't have an endosperm or nutrition source within the seed.
