Welcome to our website about Silene latifolia, commonly known as White Campion, one of the most fascinating and most studied plants! Silene latifolia is in the Caryophyllaceae family. It can be found in a wide variety of habitats in places like Europe all the way to North America. It can be a biennial or perennial. This species usually produces flowers by late spring. It is a short plant, generally only 1.5-3.5 feet tall.

White Campion is unlike any other plants. This plant is one of the only species of angiosperms to have males and females on separate plants. It is also a really distinctive plant because it can become infected with a fungal disease that functions as a plant STD. For more information on this, keep reading through our website!
