We really hope you’ve enjoyed our website, we had a lot of fun putting it together. This was an assignment for our Organismal Biology class in the fall of 2013 semester taught by Dr. Anita Baines and Dr. Roger Haro at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. The theme for our assignment was organisms within a coral reef. This is why we chose to do our webpage on the loggerhead sea turtle. We highly encourage you to check out some of our classmate’s pages at www.multipleorganisms.net.

Photograph of Kelsey Huseth           My name is Kelsey Huseth and I am currently in my sophomore year here at UWL. I was the author for the Form and Function page as well as the Interactions page. I am from the Twin Cities area and I enjoy going home there to spend time with my family. I was a gymnast for 13 years and I love to stay active. I am currently a biology major and am in the process of declaring a psychology minor. I plan to become a physician assistant and I hope to specialize as a PA in either pediatrics or orthopedics. I have always enjoyed the subject of biology and through this course I have gained some fascinating information. I hope you find the loggerhead sea turtle as interesting and intriguing as I did! Please feel free to contact me at huseth.kels@uwlax.edu if you have any questions, I would be more than happy to hear from you. Thank you!

My name is Ally Thompson and I’m a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I’m from the small town of Mondovi, WI. I’m majoring in biology with a concentration of biomedical sciences. I am also minoring in chemistry and psychology. After La Crosse, I plan to attend PA School and become a physician assistant. My goal is to work as an uAlly Thompson rgent care or orthopedic physician assistant. My interest in the medical field came from my Mother as I grew up because she is a registered nurse. When I’m not at school I’m a CNA (certified nursing assistant) at a nursing home. In my free time I enjoy playing and watching sports. I’m on the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Club Volleyball team. My favorite sports are volleyball and basketball. I also enjoy watching the brewers, packers, and of course the badgers. There is so much more to the loggerhead sea turtle then what means the eye and I hope you learned that from my page. I was the author of the Habitat page and the Reproduction and Life History page. I’m so happy I got the opportunity to learn not only about the organism but how to create a webpage.  I hope you enjoyed my page and I hope you now understand more about the loggerhead sea turtle. Thank you for visiting!
