The following are symptoms that are commonly associated with Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection. M. pneumoniae infections evolve slowly with symptoms not developing until two to three weeks after infection.

General Symptoms

      High Fever

      Dry Cough

      Tracheal Tenderness (due to prolonged coughing)

      Sore Throat

      Excessive Sweating

      Enlarged Lymph Nodes

      Inflammation of the Tympanic membrane          

      Crackling Lung Sounds

      Especially Slow Progression of General Symptoms

      Pneumonia
