Habitat and Geography

      The Spectral Bat can be found throughout all of Central America as well as in Northern and Southern America. Species of this particular bat have been found as far north as Texas and as far south as Central Brazil and Peru.   

     These bats have a fairly large range in terms of habitats they can live in. Most are found in dense forest areas, woodlands, and swamps. These bats are normally found near a river or stream. V. Spectrum is a solitary rooster and can normally be found in caves, rock crevices, buildings, and hollow trees.
