About Me!
Hello! I'm Melanie Braunschweig and
first and foremost I would like to thank you all for visiting my
site. It has truly been a time-consuming learning
experience to say the least. I couldn't have done it
without the help from my professors Dr. Volk and Dr. Sandland.
I would also like to thank the wondrous staff at ITS. They
truly saved my website. Finally, I would like to thank
everyone who let me use their beautiful photos. They have
added tremendous flavor to my site!
After learning so much about chukars, here's a little about
me! I'm currently a freshman at University of Wisconsin - La Crosse
majoring in biology with a biomedical concentration. It has been my dream
to go to school to become a physician's assistant in orthopedics ever since I
had reconstructive ACL surgery in 2005. Hopefully, in the future, I will
be accepted into PA school, but that is in the back of my mind as of now.
I need to get through these next three years of biology and chemistry first!
Now I bet you are all wondering why on earth, of all the
organisms, I chose a chukar partridge. To be completely honest, I don't
have any real connection with the bird. As I looked through the list of
organisms to choose from (all Christmas inspired), a partridge seemed like a
good choice. I didn't know much about them, so there was definitely a lot
I could learn. Also, the partridge is the star of the Christmas
song "The Twelve Days of Christmas."
I hope you all enjoyed my site!
