Hello everyone!  My name is Caylie Yessa, and I am currently a freshman here at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.  I am   majoring in Biology with a concentration in Biomedical Sciences.  This website is a required project for the organismal biology class that I am enrolled in this semester.  I chose to do my website on sugar cane because I believe that sugar is a HUGE part of our lives, and I want other people to see that as well.  I spent a lot of time creating and working on this website.  I hope you found it interesting.

I have many interests, many of them centering around my large family (Seen in the photograph below).  I love playing sports especially softball and volleyball.  I also enjoy scrapbooking with my sister Cathy and hanging out with my other siblings: Connie, Carrie, Christy and Craig.  Another big part of my life are my three nieces and five nephews, including my Godson, Blake.  I owe many of my accomplishments to my family.  You guys are awesome!
