Facts
I have always been an avid hunter, and have harvested many snowshoe hares when I was younger. Now that I am in college I find it harder to get the time to go out and enjoy hunting for snowshoes. I always found it interesting how the snowshoe hare could change colors when winter comes. The only other organism that I have seen this happen to is a short-tailed weasel, another interesting animal.
I hope this website I have created will help you appreciate this animal as much as I do because of its unique adaptations insuring its survival in the future.
