About me
My name is Jordan Johnson. I am currently in the second semester of my freshman year at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I am majoring in biology with a concentration in the biomedical sciences and minoring in chemistry. Some day, I hope to become a primary care physician. The human body is fascinating to me, so I love learning how it works and how to keep it healthy.
In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, playing sports, and exercising. I played on the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse's Ultimate (frisbee) team in the fall and found that I love playing Ultimate. Most of all, I love being outside. Nature is beautiful and fascinating. La Crosse, WI is a great place for nature enthusiasts to live because of the Mississippi River, the local marshes, and the bluffs bordering the city to the east.
Why did I choose the highbush blueberry? The first reason is quite simple: blueberries are delicious! Another reason why I chose blueberries is because of their nutritional value. Besides being healthy because they are a fruit, blueberries have antioxidants that are very good for your heart.
