Facts

Other Interesting Facts: Yersinia enteroclitica must be pretty popular amongst it's peers because many of the other species within the Yersinia genus are commonly misidentified as Y. enterocolitica. These species include Y. aldovae, Y. bercovieri, Y. frederiksenii, Y. intermedia, Y. kristensenii, Y. mollaretii, Y. rohdei, Y. alecksiciae, and Y. massiliensis.

If you were to become infected with this organism, you would have plenty of time to do a little bathroom reading. You may even want to invest in a decorative toilet in order to lighten the mood.
