Hey! My name is Hannah Lawinger and I am a freshman at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. I am majoring in biology with a concentration in biomedical sciences. I am also minoring in Spanish. After La Crosse, I plan to attend medical school and eventually become a pediatric surgeon. I would also like to study diseases in developing countries and strive to provide better living conditions.
I grew up in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, which is in the southwest
part of the state. I love being outdoors and playing sports! My
favorite sports are softball and basketball. I also love going
to Brewer games and watching the Packers.
I created this website for my Organismal Biology class which is
taught by
Dr. Gregory Sandland
and
Dr. Thomas Volk.
The
theme for this semester was venomous and poisonous organisms. I
chose the Hispaniolan solenodon because I had never heard of
this creature before and I wanted to find out about it. If you
happen to be the same way, I hope my page has helped you to
better understand this fascinating organism! Thank you for
looking at my page!
