Hello! Thanks for checking out my webpage! My name is Hannah Strombom and I am currently a freshman studying at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse majoring in Biomedical Biology and Pre-Physical Therapy with a chemistry minor. After I complete my undergraduate degree, I hope to go on to graduate school to get a doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
When I’m not in class or studying, I love to be outdoors! I’m from Merrill, WI which is in the north central part of the state, where there is no shortage of activities to do outside. In the winter I enjoy snowshoe racing and snowmobiling and in the summer I enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, jet skiing, running, hiking and playing tennis. I pretty much enjoy anything that can be done outdoors.
I created this webpage as part of my Organismal Biology (BIO 203) course taught by Dr. Greg Sandland and Dr. Tom Volk. The theme for the web pages this year was venomous and poisonous organisms. I chose to make my webpage about Pastinaca sativa, or wild parsnip, because I love being outdoors and I wanted to learn more about this nasty plant that we, as Wisconsinites, may encounter in backyards!
I hope that this webpage was interesting for you to read! Please feel free to contact me with any questions at strombom.hann@uwlax.edu. Or you can contact my professors at tvolk@uwlax.edu (Dr. Tom Volk), or gsandland@uwlax.edu (Dr. Greg Sandland) who maintain the website Multiple Organisms that contains many other organism web pages like this one created by UW-L students.
